This short film was shot during the production of the SUP ATX Stand Up Paddle Journey in 2009. The Red Hot Chili Peppers', "Road Trippin'" is the authorized title track. The SUP ATX journey was a road trip taken by a group of surfers and stand up paddlers to signify the movement of the sport of stand up paddle surfing from ocean locations to inland lakes and rivers across the United States and around the world. The use of "Road Trippin'" is the perfect soundtrack, as it was written by the Red Hot Chili Peppers while on a surfing road trip at a time of transition and self-discovery for their band. Just as the intention of the SUP ATX journey was to signify the transition of the surfing culture to all far reaching corners on Earth at a time of the rediscovery of the sport of surfing itself.
